Bio 導演介紹:

楊斯茜（Kerry Yang）1988年出生，芝加哥藝術大學電影系與南加大電影碩士畢業。2015年以南加大畢業短片《成吉思汗征服月球》入圍多項國際影展與獲獎。作品具有強烈視覺風格，融合了東西文化元素，並擅以科幻手法，衍伸出顛覆性的歷史寓言。於2017年，Kerry與南加大電影系同班學生合導一部由知名演員詹姆斯法蘭柯（James Franco）監製及主演的長片《Actors Anonymous》；目前Kerry正籌備個人首部奇幻冒險長片《TAROKO 魂魄太魯閣》。

​2020年導演斯茜於華納兄弟影業擔任電影《厲陰宅3》之視覺特效執行助理。 並於2021年參與20世紀福斯影業影集《9-1-1》之製作，Shadowing導演 Kristin Windell，參與片場導演和演員導戲及影集後製剪輯製作。

Born and raised in Taiwan, Kerry obtained a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and an MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts. Kerry’s MFA thesis film, Genghis Khan Conquers the Moon (2015), starring Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa & James Hong was awarded the 20th Century Fox Fellowship Endowment Fund. The film has screened in more than 30 film festivals worldwide. Kerry also co-directed the feature film Actors Anonymous (2017), based on the book of the same name by James Franco, who also executive-produced and starred in the film.

 

Kerry is a writer & director currently in development of her first 2 feature projects, a Vampire-Western entitled Blood Rush & a tropical WWII adventure fantasy, entitled Taroko. Both have made it to round 2 of Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Kerry is also passionate about Visual Effects. Her VFX credits include Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) & The Conjuring 3 (2021) as a VFX production assistant. Recently, Kerry was selected by Half Initiatives to shadow direct a guest director Kristin Windell on an episode of the FOX TV series, 9-1-1.
